France's Total and Germany's E.ON intend to exit the Trans Adriatic Gas Pipeline (TAP) to convey Azeri gas to Italy, since decreasing Italian demand puts energy projects into doubt, according to Vagif Aliyev, SOCAR's investment department manager at Azeri SOCAR.

Spain: Iberdrola signed LNG contract estimated at $5.6 bln
Spanish power firm Iberdrola declared on Friday it had signed with Cheniere Energy Inc a liquefied natural gas (LNG) sale and acquisition deal estimated at $5.6 billion for a period of 20 years.

Turkey: TPAO to purchase Total’s stake in Shah Deniz gas project
Turkey's state-controlled oil company Turkish Petroleum Corp (TPAO) has decided to buy 10 percent stake of the French energy firm Total in Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz gas project, as declared on Thursday by two sources familiar with the matter.
