Crude oil futures diverged to trade rather flat on Monday amid mixed signals. Forecasts that crude supply will be tight the rest of the year provide little support, while the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant stoked fears about fuel demand, limiting gains. Hence, Brent crude rose by 0.5% to settle at $74.50 a barrel, while U.S. WTI crude lost 0.2% to close at $ 71.91 a barrel.

Crude oil prices ended lower on Wednesday, following reports of weaker demand and prospects of increased black gold supply from OPEC+ members. Losses, however, were limited by a further drop in US crude reserves. Brent oil fell by 2.3% to $74.76 a barrel and WTI oil declined by 2.8% to $73.13 a barrel.

Oil prices fell on Wednesday, amid continued concerns over failed negotiations on crude production by OPEC+ members. As such, Brent oil ended 1.5% lower at $73.43 a barrel, and WTI crude dropped by 1.6% to $72.20 a barrel.

Oil prices rebounded on Wednesday as U.S. crude stockpiles fell last week for the sixth straight week. In addition, an OPEC report foresaw an undersupplied market this year, boosting crude demand. As a result, Brent crude edged 0.5% higher to end at $75.13 a barrel. The American WTI increased by 0.7% to settle at 73.47 a barrel.

Crude oil prices stabilised on Tuesday, with the market still focused on the upcoming OPEC summit, where the organization is set to plan their output strategy for the coming months. Hence, Brent crude steadied at $74.76 a barrel. At the same time, U.S. WTI crude ended rather flat at $72.98 a barrel.
