Total’s Manager Director stated on Tuesday that the French oil firm will keep on investing in Russia, in spite of the tensions between Ukraine and the Russian President. According to the company, the liquefied gas project in the Yamal Peninsula is not at risk.

EU urged by thirteen ministers to approve 2030 green energy goals
The European Union has been urged by thirteen ministers on Monday to reach an accord till the end of March on the most important aspects of 2030 environment and energy policy or it risks discouraging significant energy investments and pushing back efforts to obtain a global agreement on climate change.

Daily: Crude oil prices soar to five-month highs amid escalating tension in Ukraine
Crude oil prices surged by more than $2 a barrel on Monday to hit the highest level since September on escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia which shook oil markets. Ukraine mobilized its army reserves as Russia seized control of the Black Sea region of Crimea.

Germany files complaint against EU over energy subsidy survey
The European Court of Justice received from Germany a complaint against the decision of the European Commission to study exemption to green energy charges that the country offers to approximately 2000 industrial energy consumers, as stated by the Economy Ministry on Friday.
