Vestas cuts production and worker hours at its Brighton facility
The Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has announced currently that it intends to cut production at its Brighton and Windsor facilities, and will also cut the employee hours, due to a slowdown of wind industry in the U.S. and a reduction in turbine orders for 2013.

EIA released their Energy Outlook Report for 2013
The Energy Information Administration has released this week its 2013 Energy Outlook Report which forecasts that by 2040 renewables will meet 16% of US energy demand in comparison to 13% in 2011.

The European investment Bank to provide a 155 million euro loan to Bord Gàis
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted a 155 million euro loan to Irish energy company, Bord Gàis, to support the construction of six onshore wind farms, in Counties Tipperary, Clare and Kilkenny, with a total combined capacity of 141 MW.

EC is investigating over Germany’s green energy law
The European Commission said it is investigating over German subsidies for renewable energy as a pressure group representing more than 13,000 households and small businesses in the country protested that present legislation illegally favors large industrial energy customers.
