Vestas cuts production and worker hours at its Brighton facility

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has announced currently that it intends to cut production at its Brighton and Windsor facilities, and will also cut the employee hours, due to a slowdown of wind industry in the U.S. and a reduction in turbine orders for 2013.

The European investment Bank to provide a 155 million euro loan to Bord Gàis

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted a 155 million euro loan to Irish energy company, Bord Gàis, to support the construction of six onshore wind farms, in Counties Tipperary, Clare and Kilkenny, with a total combined capacity of 141 MW.

EC is investigating over Germany’s green energy law
