French Alstom to deliver 36 units of ECO 122 wind turbines in Brazil

The French manufacturer Alstom inked a deal on Monday with Brazilian electricity firm Tractebel Energia, a private power generator, to deliver 36 units of ECO 122 wind turbines to Trairi II project, a wind farm located in Ceara State, Northeast of Brazil.

Norway: wind farm to be built off Britain by Statoil and Statkraft

Norway's Statoil and Statkraft will construct the Dudgeon offshore wind farm off the coast of Norfolk in Britain, according to Statoil on Tuesday. It is estimated that the cost will be around 1.5 billion pounds ($2.57 billion).
