UK to close a nuclear plant in the light of Japanese disaster

U.S. and Brent crude oil futures decreased in the post-settlement trading on Tuesday on rising worries over the U.S. debt and after API data indicated a fall in crude oil inventories of 3.3 million barrels last week against forecasts of an increase in stocks.

Poland: first step in nuclear power

GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy Ltd, a global nuclear alliance created by General Electric and Hitachi, signed a memorandum of understanding with Warsaw-based engineering firm Energoprojekt Warszawa, to start negotiations about building a future nuclear power plant in Poland.

U.S. crude oil futures eased on Monday registering early gains on indicated weak manufacturing data in the U.S. from the Institute for Supply Management. NYMEX crude for September delivery traded at 94.89 dollars a barrel, losing 81 cents after trading between 93.42 and 98.60 dollars.
