Major milestone for Japanese and Russian gas infrastructure

Russia and Japan could jointly lay a seabed gas pipeline, said Seiji Maehara, the Chairman of the Council for political studies of the ruling Democratic Party of Japan speaking at the office of the Russian Giant Gazprom. The proposal came from Russia and has been already discussed by the representatives of the Japanese business community ahead of the trip of Seiji Maehara.
