Oil prices saw another day of losses on Thursday as investors remained concerned about a possible return of Iranian supply, the rise of U.S. crude stocks and rising coronavirus figures in Asia. Hence, Brent crude shed by $1.55, or 2.3% to settle at $65.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. WTI crude declined by $1.42, or 2.2% to end at $61.94 a barrel.

Oil prices increased on Wednesday, as crude inventories in the United States diminished slightly. Meanwhile, the tense situation at some American gas stations, after the shutdown of a major pipeline, lent additional support to prices. Hence, Brent oil was 1.1% up at $69.32 a barrel and WTI crude ended 1.2% higher at $66.08 a barrel.

Oil prices saw modest gains on Friday amid disappointing job report in the U.S. and despite the disastrous health situation in India, the world's third-largest consumer of oil. Hence, Brent crude added 0.3% to settle at $68.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. WTI crude settled at $64.90 a barrel, posting a 0.3% gain day-on-day.

Crude oil prices started the week on a front foot, as strong economic figures from China and a rapid coronavirus vaccination pace in the US overshadowed the concerns over increasing virus figures in India. Hence, Brent crude added 0.55 to settle at $67.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. WTI crude increased by 1.4% to close at $64.69 a barrel.

Oil prices strengthened on Wednesday, supported by positive consumption data for black gold in the United States. Despite a slight increase in US crude inventories, according to the EIA’s weekly report, Brent oil gained 1.3% to $67.27 a barrel and WTI crude rose by 1.5% to $63.86 a barrel.
