Daily: Crude oil prices get support from geopolitical concerns
Crude oil prices increased on Tuesday as tensions increased in eastern Ukraine and obtaining further support from a sudden violence in Libya, raising questions when oil flows will restart. Brent crude futures for June delivery closed at $108.98 per barrel, increasing 86 cents, or 0.8 percent, after having hovered much of the day above $109 per barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. crude for June delivery gained 44 cents to settle at $101.28 per barrel, up 0.44 percent.

Romanian PM: No shale gas production in the next 5 years
Despite the fact that Romanian shale gas sector is its early stages, with the American oil giant Chevron having started the exploration of shale gas, Romanian Prime Minster Victor Ponta declared on Thursday that Romania will not exploit shale gas at least in the next five years.

Daily: Brent crude prices fall as Libya exports resume
Brent crude oil dropped by about $1.50 a barrel on Monday as Libya, an important crude oil producer, paved the way to resume exports from the eastern oil port of Zueitina, while the spread versus U.S. futures suddenly reduced after expanding for two weeks.

Russia: Rosneft declares that Gazprom holds back its LNG project
The chief executive of Russia's top oil producer Rosneft appealed to the government to intervene and facilitate company’s access to a Gazprom's trunk gas pipeline, essential for the liquefied natural gas project it is setting up with ExxonMobil.

Daily: European carbon allowances near to one-month high on reduced supply
Brent crude futures increased over a dollar a barrel on Thursday on reciprocal incrimination of aggression by Ukraine and Russia, intensifying concerns over eventual oil supplies, while optimistic economic data in the U.S. showed stronger demand.
