French Total eyes to develop a LNG facility in Cyprus

A world without carbon emissions: a dream or a reality?
According to a report published by the energy consultancy Ecofys and the Global Call for Climate Action, technological options existing today and in the near future could help to trim down emissions to zero for about 90% of present sources of GHG emissions. The report stated that it is technically and economically possible to phase out net greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions almost completely by 2050.

Ukraine suspended natural gas imports from Russia
Ukraine’s Naftogaz decided to suspend natural gas imports from Russia last Friday amid a dispute over pricing. However the flow to Europe via Ukraine remains intact so far.
