German wind turbine producer Nordex predicts its annual sales to increase by approximately 40 percent and operating profit margin to have more than doubled by 2017 because of a mix of cost reductions, innovative products and rising demand in European markets.

Dongfang wins order to supply 30 turbines to Blaiken
China’s Dongfang Electric has inked a €67 million transaction with Skellefteå Kraft to deliver turbines at the third stage of the 250 MW Blaiken wind farm in the north of Sweden. The first two phases comprise 60 Nordex turbines of 2.5 MW each.
