Austrian OMV bought shares in Nabucco gas pipeline
Austrian OMV has acquired shares in the Nabucco West gas pipeline project from German RWE on 14 April. Both RWE and OMV have confirmed the deal but they didn’t provide any other information.

Repsol marks the second significant gas discovery in Algeria
Spanish gas giant Repsol announced it performed a significant discovery in Algeria at the Sud-Est Illizi block, near the border with Libya, being the second discovery since last November.

Ukraine increased its gas imports from Europe
Stating to Ukrtransgas, the Ukrainian gas transit state monopoly, Ukraine has more than doubled its gas imports from Europe to about 5 million cubic meters per day, which means that the current amount is two and a half times more than previous amount of two million cubic meters per day.
