Slovakia: the pipeline to deliver gas from the EU to Ukraine has been opened
Slovakia launched a pipeline on Tuesday able to carry gas from the European Union to Ukraine, a connection that could potentially provide about 20 percent of the country's annual consumption since Kiev deals with a cut of Russia supplies ahead of winter.
