Danish political agreement reached on up to 6 GW electrolysis target
A broad political agreement has been reached in Denmark to spur Power-to-X technologies, including a DKK-1.25-billion (USD 184m/EUR 168m) tender for hydrogen production, the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities said on Tuesday.

Daily (02.03.2022): Brent crude surged towards $105 a barrel on Tuesday despite IEA agreement
Oil prices surged on Tuesday with Brent crude hitting its highest level since 2014 as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine entered its seventh day. However, IEA’s decision to release 60m bbl of reserves to alleviate price hikes did little to calm markets. Hence, Brent crude soared by 4% to settle at $104.97 a barrel.

Fortum picks up 800GWh Finnish PPA
Chemical manufacturer Borealis has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Fortum to source 800 gigawatt-hours of electricity from two onshore wind farms to be built in Finland.
