The developers of the 1,400-MW Viking Link interconnector between Denmark and the UK today announced they will award contracts worth a total of EUR 1.1 billion (USD 1.23bn) for the supply of cables and converter stations as part of the project.

EU grants Poland a further 215 million euros for Baltic Pipe gas project
The European Commission has signed a deal with Poland’s GAZ-SYSTEM that will see a further 215 million euros invested in a natural gas pipeline between Denmark and Poland in order to import Norwegian gas.

Ørsted to bid in 750-MW Dutch offshore wind tender
