France urges Brussels to label nuclear-produced hydrogen ‘green’
French Energy Minister Agnès Pannier-Runacher is trying to get EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson to include nuclear among energy sources for the production of so-called “green” hydrogen, according to a letter seen by EURACTIV France.

Portugal ranked 4th for renewable energy in Europe
According to the most recent figures of the Portuguese Association for Renewable Energies (Apren), in the month of August, Portugal produced 46.8% of its electricity from renewable power sources, earning for itself a fifth place in Europe and forth, if the cumulative energy stock for 2022 is counted. Portugal, in 2022, was able to produce 54.6% of its energy from renewables. This result is lower than Norway, Austria and Denmark which reach respectively 99%, 80% and 77%.

Finnish govt plans 10-bn-euro crisis package for energy companies
