Snam, Enagas and Fluxys close acquisition of DESFA

The European consortium formed by Snam (60%), Enagás (20%) and Fluxys (20%) today completed the acquisition of a 66% stake in DESFA, the operator of Greek natural gas transport network, to the Assets Development Fund of the Republic Hellenic (HRADF) and Hellenic Petroleum, for an amount of €535 million.

BP plans to spend over $1bn in Egypt in 2019

BP is planning to spend more than a billion dollars on its assets in Egypt in the coming year. According to Bob Dudley, BP chief executive, the company will spend $1.8 billion in Egypt and an additional $1 billion annually in Abu Dhabi on new discoveries and licensing rounds as it looks to expand its operations in the Middle East.

Gazprom and OMV sign agreement on assets sales

The Russian gas giant of Gazprom and the Austrian OMV company signed on Wednesday a basic agreement on the sales of assets following the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Gazprom said in a statement.

UK's Petrofac sells North Sea assets for $292 million

British oilfield services provider Petrofac Ltd has agreed to sell its 20 percent interest in the Greater Stella Area of the North Sea to oil and gas operator Ithaca Energy in a deal worth up to $292 million.
