EU nuclear club’s projects could reach 150 GW by 2050
Nuclear power could reach up to 150 GW of capacity by 2050, against 100 GW currently, France’s energy minister wrote in a statement on Tuesday following a meeting of the new European nuclear alliance.

Daily (16.05.2023): European Cal24 power prices fell on Monday amid an overall bearish energy complex
Crude oil prices rebounded on Monday as tightening supplies offset concerns over the US economy, including the standoff on the looming debt-ceiling deadline. Hence, Brent crude rose by $1.06, or 1.4% to settle at $75.23 a barrel. U.S. WTI crude settled at $71.11 a barrel, up $1.07, or 1.5%.

1.6 million UK homes joined scheme to cut winter power demand
Some 1.6 million British homes signed up to a scheme paying them to cut electricity use to help prevent power shortages last winter, saving over 3,300 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity, National Grid said on Wednesday.
