Russia will spend more than $400bln in gas sector investment

Oil price was down for the second day on Tuesday as OPEC decided to let the oil market to focus on stronger dollar and to maintain oil current production levels. At 06:32 GMT, U.S. crude for November decreased at $81.43 per barrel, while ICE Brent dropped by $0.75 arriving at $82.97 per barrel.

Argentina builds second LNG port.

Argentina decided to build its second Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) port, therefore to double its import capacity, as it’s seeing growing demand and decreasing production. The deal has been made between Excelerate Energy and Argentina's state-owned utility Enarsa.

Exxon started extracting Russian oil.

Oil production has begun from the Odoptu field at the Sakhalin-1 project in offshore northeastern Russia, on schedule and within the projected costs. It is expected to add up to 11 million barrels to oil production in 2011
