Daily: Crude oil prices gain ground amid concerns over Middle East turmoil

Crude oil prices rebounded on Monday as a robust global demand compensated a strong dollar, although a holiday in the United States and much countries of Europe reduced the trading activity. Crude oil was also spurred by signs that U.S. supply is easing and by fresh worries that violence in the Middle East will aggravate. U.S. crude stockpiles have declined for three consecutive weeks after having rallied to record highs last month.

Croatia’s HEP signs 3-year agreement to supply electricity to Slovenia’s capital

Croatian state-run power utility HEP declared on Thursday it had inked a 12 million euro ($13.4 million) agreement to supply power to the capital of bordering Slovenia over the next three years, since it aims to expand in the region.

Daily: Crude oil down more that 3% on stronger dollar, supply glut concerns

Crude oil declined more than 3 percent on Tuesday, with WTI crude prolonging losses for a fifth consecutive day as the dollar firmed and on news that the Unites States and top oil exporter Saudi Arabia were pumping a bigger quantity that needed. Brent crude declined by $2.25 to settle at $64.02 a barrel, while U.S. crude's front-month contract fell $2.17 to end at $57.26.
