Ukraine increased by 59% its gas imports from Europe in 2014

Europe increased its natural gas flows towards Ukraine by 143% year on year, or 3 billion cubic meters, to 5.1 Bcm in 2014, up from 2.1 Bcm in 2013, as reported on Monday by state-owned gas shipper UkrTransGaz. Ukraine imported European gas via Slovakia, Poland and Hungary.
