Daily: Crude oil prices rally, with WTI at 2015 peak
Crude oil prices soared on Wednesday, with WTI hitting a 2015 peak after government figures indicated crude oil stockpiles in the United States boosted less than expected last week. Expiring front-month May Brent contract jumped $1.89 to settle at $60.32. Brent crude for June delivery rose by 3.51 to close at $63.32. U.S. crude for May delivery climbed $3.10 to settle at $56.39 a barrel, highest level of the year.

Shell launches gas supplies to Ukraine
Royal Dutch Shell has started gas supplies to Ukraine and intends to pump minimum 120 to 130 million cubic metres this month, as stated by Ukrainian news agency Liga on Wednesday, citing a government source.

Daily: European spot power prices diverge on weaker French nuclear, stronger German wind output
Crude oil futures boosted on Tuesday on evidence of declining oil production in North Dakota, depreciation of dollar and turmoil in the Middle East, especially in Yemen. Brent crude firmed by 50 cents to settle at $58.43 a barrel, ahead of Wednesday's May contract expiration, closing just above its $58.40 100-day moving average. WTI crude for May delivery climbed $1.38 to close at $53.29, soaring above its 100-day moving average of $52.96.

Russia’s Gazprom will make an extra investment of $4 billion in Asia push
