Oil prices fell on Tuesday from 3 ½ - year peaks reached the previous session, as increasing U.S. fuel inventories and production pressured an otherwise bullish market. Brent futures lost $0.85, or 1.1%, to close at $73.86. WTI crude dropped by 1.4% to end at $67.70 a barrel.

Oil prices fell on Monday following a higher U.S. drilling activity and due to worries related to increasing tensions in the Middle East after air strikes on Syria over the weekend. Brent futures lost $1.16, or 1.6%, to end at $71.42 a barrel. WTI crude slumped by 1.7% to $66.22 a barrel.

Oil prices were mixed on Thursday. Brent futures fell from peaks last reached in late 2014 due to a stronger dollar, while WTI crude rose on worries over a military clash in Syria. Brent crude ended 4 cents, or 0.1%, down at $72.02 per barrel. WTI futures edged 0.4% higher at $67.07 per barrel.
