U.S. and Brent crude futures recovered for a second consecutive day on Tuesday after a sharp drop in the previous week supported by a surge in gasoline futures and strong trade data from China. U.S. crude for delivery in June was traded at 103.88 dollars a barrel, up 1.3 percent, after a trading range between 100.12 and 103.95 dollars. ICE Brent for June delivery valued 117.63 dollars a barrel, up 1.49 percent, after a trading range from 113.58 to 117.95 dollars.

British Gas, the company which supplies gas and electricity to UK residential and business customers, has recently launched a new online energy tariff, called OnlineSaver 4, which guarantees a 4% discount compared to their standard tariff, until 31st October 2012.

Centrica warns of sharply increase in U.K energy bills

The owner of British Gas, Centrica warned that U.K. customers could be facing future hikes in gas and electricity prices by a quarter compared to the last year, following the increased taxes combined with higher costs of wholesale gas.
