Daily – gas prices up near to a one-week high

U.S. and Brent crude oil futures held gains on Thursday after a government report showed initial jobless claims increased previous week in the United States, driven up ahead of the data by optimism about Greece avoiding default on its debt. By 13:35 GMT, ICE Brent crude traded at 125.17 dollars a barrel, gaining 1.05 dollars after having traded between 123.80 and 125.58 dollars.
