The NBP UK season-ahead (winter) gas price has dropped over 5% since the end of March, and the contract failed to find support at key technical markets on its way to its current value. Rising supply confidence and bulging inventories have reassured traders that there will be enough gas to meet demand later in the year, leading to a downward price correction after a period of sharp gains.
