Slovenia plans extension of electricity, gas price regulation
The government plans to extend the regulation on electricity and gas retail prices for households, small business customers and Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which expires in mid-2023, until the end of the year, with unofficial information indicating price levels will remain the same.

Daily (21.03.2023): British gas prices continued to fall on Monday amid healthy stocks, mild weather
Crude oil prices rebounded after plummeting to their lowest levels in 15 months the previous day. However, fears over further contagion from the banking crisis continued to dominate crude trading. Hence, Brent crude rose by 82 cents, or 1.1%, to settle at $73.79 a barrel. U.S. WTI crude gained 90 cents, or 1.4%, at $67.64 on the eve of the contract's expiry.

Daily (17.03.2023): European year-ahead power prices gained ground on Thursday tracking higher gas prices
Crude oil prices settled higher on Thursday following the news that Saudi Arabia and Russia met to discuss ways to improve market stability. Hence, Brent crude increased by 1.4% to $74.70 a barrel. At the same time, WTI crude gained 1% to end at $68.35 a barrel.

Daily (16.03.2023): European power prices fell on Wednesday amid lower gas and CO2 prices
Oil prices had a bearish evolution on Wednesday due to a crisis in the banking sector and amid worries about the broader economy. Consequently, Brent crude decreased by 4.8% to $73.69 a barrel and WTI oil closed 5.2% lower at $67.61 a barrel.
