Iran sold its first cargo from West Karoun to Spain’s Repsol after the US decision to exit the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Repsol ordered 500,000 bpd of spot cargoes of West Karoun crude which Iran is marketing as Pars oil.

Iraq started exporting oil to Iran from one of world’s largest deposits

Iraq has begun export deliveries of oil from the fields of the Kirkuk province to Iran. Transportation of oil from Kirkuk to Iran is a part of an agreement concluded between the two states’ oil ministries providing for exports in the amount of 30 to 60 thousand barrels per day.

Chinese firm to invest $2 billion in oil refinery in Iran

A Chinese investment firm will spend US$2 billion on building an oil refinery in the Iranian northern province of Mazandaran, the official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Monday, quoting the deputy head of the province’s center for attracting foreign investment, Mousa Qasem-Pisheh.
