A new solar plant in California.

The solar photovoltaic facility will be constructed in three projects that will start this month with a capacity of 45 megawatt and for a total sum of $220 million. This project appears as California regulators voted last week to raise the state’s renewable energy objective to one third by 2020.

Thanet – biggest offshore wind farm.

The biggest offshore wind farm, Thanet, is located off the coast of Kent just south of England. The area of the farm is of 35 square kilometers, with 100 wind turbines, capable of providing energy for 200,000 houses.
