Oil prices surpassed last week's seven-month lows on Monday. The higher supplies threaten OPEC efforts and its partners to reduce global oil inventories with production cuts. Investors in U.S. crude futures and options increased their bets against a further rise in oil prices.

Poland: Russian gas supplies restart after break
Poland started on Friday accepting gas deliveries again from Russia through the Yamal pipeline which were stopped two days earlier because of poor quality of gas, as stated by the Polish state-operated gas transit company Gaz-System.

At least five companies likely to bid for Gas Natural's Italian assets
At least five energy and infrastructure companies are likely to place non-binding offers for the Italian assets of Spain's Gas Natural, as stated by two sources close to the matter on Friday, adding foreign funds were also looking at the agreement.
