Accordo tra Centrica e Qatar per circa 2 miliardi di sterline

Centrica, uno dei principali fornitori di energia elettrica nel Regno Unito, ha dichiarato mercoledì di aver firmato con il Qatar un accordo da 2 miliardi di sterline. L'accordo prevede la fornitura di 2,4 milioni di tonnellate di gas naturale liquefatto all’anno da parte del Qatar verso la Gran Bretagna per un periodo di tre anni.

Centrica sings £2 billion agreement with Qatar

Centrica, one of U.K’s major energy suppliers, declared on Wednesday that it sealed a £2 billion deal with Qatar. The deal provides the delivery of 2.4 million tons of liquefied natural gas a year to the U.K. from Qatar during a period of three years.

Ukraine to cooperate with U.S. in diversification of shale gas production

According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, the governments of Ukraine and the United States discussed a future collaboration in the nuclear energy sector and have signed a memorandum on cooperation to explore shale gas deposits in Ukraine.
