Total and Pavilion Energy to jointly develop LNG as a Marine Fuel in Singapore

Total and Pavilion Energy, through their subsidiaries Total Marine Fuels Global Solutions and Pavilion Gas, have signed Heads of Agreement (HoA) to jointly develop a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) bunker supply chain in the port of Singapore. The agreement covers the shared long-term time charter of a new generation LNG bunker vessel (LNGBV) to be commissioned by Pavilion Gas by 2020. It also includes an LNG supply arrangement between the two companies enabling Total to deliver LNG bunker to its customers.

Ford reaches its manufacturing emissions target eight years ahead of schedule

The US-based automotive manufacturing company, Ford, has announced it has reached it’s CO2 emissions target eight years in advance. The firm set the target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions produced through its manufacturing operations by 30% per vehicle produced in 2010.

Daily (28.06.18): UK gas prices were strongly bullish on Wednesday due to high oil prices

Decreasing U.S. crude stocks, a supply outage at Syncrude in Canada and uncertainty over Lybian exports boosted oil prices on Wednesday. Brent crude jumped to almost a three-week peak, to settle 1.7% higher at $77.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude rose by 3.1% to $72.76 a barrel, or a 3 ½ -year high.

Polish gas giant PGNiG signs deal for long-term LNG deliveries from US

Polish state-run gas company PGNiG says it has signed a long-term agreement with two American companies for the purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States amid efforts to make Poland independent of Russian supplies.
