Oil declined for a third day in a row due to a selling wave that hit equities, bonds, cryptocurrencies and commodities, and amidst pressure from a rising dollar. Brent crude slumped by 1.1% to $66.86 per barrel. WTI ended 1.2% lower at 63.39$ per barrel.

Daily (06.02.2018): German Spot Electricity Price Hiked by 17% on Monday Due to Higher Demand
Oil prices ended lower on Monday as U.S. output increases, a weaker physical market and recent dollar strength added to the pressure from an extensive decline across equities and commodities markets. Brent crude slumped by 1.4 percent, at $67.62 a barrel. WTI tumbled by 2% to $64.15 per barrel.

Daily (05.02.2018): UK day-ahead gas contract traded 1.4% higher on Friday due to colder weather
Oil prices fell on Friday as the dollar surged following strong U.S. jobs growth, while production cuts by OPEC and progressive global demand kept much of the early year oil rally in place. Brent crude slumped by 1.5 percent, to $68.58 a barrel. WTI ended 0.5% lower at $65.45 a barrel.

Daily (02.02.2018): German spot electricity price hiked by 19.1% on Thursday due to higher demand
Oil prices surged on Thursday after a survey showed that OPEC's commitment to its supply cuts is still in place, even if U.S. output hit 10 million barrels per day for the first time since 1970. Brent crude settled 0.9% higher at $69.65 per barrel. WTI crude ended at $65.8 per barrel, up 1.7%.

Daily (01.02.2018): UK gas prices surged on Wednesday due to forecasts for colder weather
Oil prices rose on Wednesday following the U.S. Federal Reserve declaration about their intention to leave interest rates unchanged. It also predicted higher inflation this year. Brent crude increased slightly to close at $69.05 per barrel. WTI settled at $64.73 per barrel, up 0.4%.
