Areva to provide turbines for the Wikinger project in the German Baltic Sea

Iberdrola, a Spanish offshore wind technology developer has chosen the French provider Areva to supply the turbines for its 400MW Wikinger offshore wind project in the German Baltic Sea which will be built in 2016 and 2017. The two companies will now begin the consultation to decide the commercial and technical details of the supply contract.
