Oil crude prices fell on Wednesday, due to increased trade tensions between U.S. and China, who is set to impose retaliatory 25% tariffs on $16 billion of American goods. Both Brent crude and WTI prices dropped by 3.2% to close at $72.28 a barrel and $66.94 a barrel respectively.

Oil crude prices continued to rise on Tuesday, on concerns over the global oil supplies as U.S. sanctions imposed on Iranian exports have been revived. Brent crude added 1.2% to close at $74.65 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude edged 0.2% higher at $69.17 a barrel.

Oil crude prices hiked on Monday, due to sharp decline in Saudi crude outputs following the OPEC report. As concerns about the global oil supplies increased, Brent crude gained 0.7% to reach $73.75 a barrel. At the same time, WTI crude rose by 0.8% to $69.01 a barrel.

Oil prices edged lower on Friday, as increased concerns over China’s denial to admit the sanctions against Iranian crude supported the fears over falling demand on U.S supplies. Consequently, Brent crude slipped by 0.3% to $73.21 a barrel. WTI crude dropped by 0.7% to $68.49 a barrel.

Oil prices rose on Thursday, as the OPEC oversupplied stocks returned to normal state and Cushing inventories are down at the lowest level since 2014. Brent crude gained 1.5% to reach $73.45 a barrel. WTI crude increased by 1.9% to $68.96 a barrel.
