18 EU member states vote against moves to impose duties on Chinese solar panels

Yesterday, a majority of EU nations voted against the imposition of duties on Chinese solar panels. The duties were proposed by EU trade commissioner Karel De Gucht in response to supposed "dumping" of solar panels by China, selling at below cost. The Commission is due to take a decision on 5 June.
