DEPA sells gas to Bulgaria at 16 pct less

Public Gas Corporation (DEPA) of Greece has sold natural gas to Bulgaria at a price 10 percent below the Bulgarian regulated rate and 16 percent below the rate offered to its major clients in Greece, thereby subsidizing industry in the neighboring country.

Daily (18.10.2018): WTI crude dropped by 3% on Wednesday due to a jump in US stockpiles

Oil crude prices fell on Wednesday as the U.S. Energy Department's Energy Information Administration revealed a higher-than-expected build in U.S. crude inventories, offsetting concerns about diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Brent crude price traded 1.7% lower to settle at $80.05 a barrel. WTI crude price plunged 3% down to settle at $69.75 a barrel.

LNG production in Russia could reach 83 mln tonnes by 2035 — Energy Ministry

Russia can increase production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to 83 mln tonnes by 2035 from the current 21 mln tonnes, Head of Department of Oil and Gas Production and Transportation at the Russian Energy Ministry Alexander Gladkov said at the Sakhalin Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition.
