Daily (03.08.2017): European carbon contracts grew by 2.4% to 2-weeks high on Wednesday.
Oil prices were bullish on Wednesday. Crude inventories in the US fell about half the decline EIA analysts had expected and strong refinery runs continued to boost demand for crude, supporting the prices. Brent crude jumped by 1.12% to close at $52.36 a barrel, while WTI price rose by almost 0.9% to close at $49.59 a barrel.

Nordex inks two power acquisition contracts in India
Nordex has inked electricity purchase agreements with the Indian state of Karnataka for two of the German wind turbine producer's parks, as told by its chief executive to shareholders at the group's annual general meeting on Tuesday.

ABB and Prysmiam win IFA2 Interconnection Contracts
National Grid UK and France’s Réseau de Transport d’Electricité (RTE) have awarded contracts with a combined value of around EUR 620 million for the supply of cables and converter stations for the IFA2 interconnector, to Swiss-based player ABB and cable specialist Prysmian Group.
