Daily (21.04.2023): Oil prices plunged to their lowest level since late March amid recession fears
Oil prices plummeted to their lowest level since late March on Thursday, weighed by increased worries about a possible recession. Brent crude slumped by 2.4% to $81.10 a barrel. WTI crude declined by 2.3% to $77.37 a barrel.

EU, Norway plan cooperation on carbon capture, hydrogen

Germany expands energy grid for offshore wind farms in North Sea
A 7 billion euro deal to connect offshore wind farms in the North Sea to the German energy grid has been signed by Siemens Energy and Spain's Dragados Offshore, the two companies announced.

Denmark launches world’s first Power-to-X tender
The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) has invited bids to build and operate Power-to-X projects with a deadline for applications set to 1 September. Through the tender – the first of this kind in both Denmark and the world – the country has made available DKK 1.25 billion (approximately €167.7 million) in state support for the production of Power-to-X in the form of green hydrogen.
