Daily (10.06.2021): Carbon EUAs gained around 2.5% on Wednesday, lifted by strong auction results and bullish energy prices
Crude oil price growth was counterbalanced on Wednesday by a strong increase in US gasoline reserves and pessimistic views over demand. Consequently, Brent oil stagnated at $72.22 a barrel, while WTI crude edged 0.1% lower at $69.96 a barrel.

Daily (08.06.2021): British gas prices gained ground on Monday amid muted wind, weak inventories and strong CO2 prices
Crude oil prices retreated on Monday as China’s crude imports slid by 15% year- on- year in May to a five-month low, heightening demand concerns. Hence, Brent crude eased by 0.6% to settle at $71.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. WTI crude slipped by 0.6% as well, to end at $69.23 a barrel.

Eleven EU countries oppose plan to prolong gas project funding
Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and eight other countries will reject a plan to prolong European Union support for cross-border natural gas projects, and instead push for rules to exclude fossil fuels, according to a document seen by Reuters.

Daily (01.06.2021): Brent crude nears $70 a barrel as demand outlook improves
Oil prices gained ground on Monday, with Brent crude for August delivery rising by 0.5% at $69.32 a barrel amid growing demand expectations for the rest of the year, as lockdown measures are gradually withdrawn in large parts of the western world. Meanwhile, U.S. WTI crude increased by 0.9% at 66.90 a barrel. British gas contracts did not trade on Monday due to the Spring bank holiday.
