National Grid to sell 61% of its gas distribution business for £13.8bn
UK’s National Grid has agreed to sell a majority stake in its gas distribution business (NGGD) to a group of investors including Chinese and Qatari sovereign wealth funds in a deal valuing the business at about £13.8bn ($17.4bn), including debt.

India is negotiating with Russia natural gas swap with China
A unit of India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp Ltd (ONGC) is in discussion with Russia to swap natural gas with China and Myanmar as an alternative to building a proposed pipeline to carry gas from Russian Siberia, a senior official said on Wednesday.
