Iberdrola will build 9 wind farms in Brazil

Iberdrola Renovables, in a consortium with local energy company Neoenergia, won the tender for the construction of 9 new wind farms in Brazil. The tender for the projects was called by Brazil’s electricity industry authority, Agencia Nacional de Energía Elétrica (ANEEL).The complete tender was for 50 wind farms (1,520 MW), five hydroelectric plants (101 MW) and a biomass facility (64 MW).
