Solarstrom to build 440MW of solar generation capacity

Solarstrom ( SAG), a German developer of renewables, intends to build 4 solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in western Spain ,in the Extremadura region, totaling 440 MW. The four projects will be built by a joint-venture, which includes Valsolar, in which Solarstrom holds a 51% share.

The Chinese National Energy Administration (NEA) has unveiled its 12th five year plan for renewable energy in which it laid out the general principles, overall goals, and key tasks for China’s renewable energy development. The plan regards mostly renewable technologies of hydropower, wind power, solar energy and biomass.

TGC Renewables to build the largest solar farm in UK

TGC Renewables, one of the most important renewable energy developers in the UK, has announced that they will commence now the construction of the 6.2 MW solar PV project, at Marley Thatch in South Devon. This will be the largest solar PV project and once completed the solar farm would provide enough electricity to power about 2,500 homes, TGC Renewables said.
