Bulgartransgaz decides to launch gas pipeline construction tender

Bulgaria's gas transmission system operator Bulgartransgaz said on Friday that it has decided to launch a tender for the construction of a new 484 km gas pipeline from compressor station Nova Provadia, which will be located some 50 km away from the Black Sea coast city of Varna, to the border with Serbia.

Snam, Enagas and Fluxys close acquisition of DESFA

The European consortium formed by Snam (60%), Enagás (20%) and Fluxys (20%) today completed the acquisition of a 66% stake in DESFA, the operator of Greek natural gas transport network, to the Assets Development Fund of the Republic Hellenic (HRADF) and Hellenic Petroleum, for an amount of €535 million.

Transgaz gets EUR 50 million EIB loan to build a new pipeline for Black Sea gas

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will award EUR 50 million to finance a new pipeline to connect Romania’s natural gas resources in the Black Sea shore with the national gas transport network as well as the BRUA corridor, according to a statement by the Economy Ministry.

Gazprom Armenia to expand Abovyan UGS facility’s capacity to 300 mln m3

Armenia’s national natural gas distribution company Gazprom Armenia plans to increase the capacity of its Abovyan underground natural gas storage facility to 300 million m3, the chief engineer of Gazprom Armenia Ashot Hakobyan said, Armenian Arka reported.
