Connecticut Clean Energy Fund to invest 1.98 million dollars in solar projects

According to some officials of the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (USA), the institution awarded 1.98 million dollars of the total investment capital of 12.86 million dollars to 14 selected “renewable” projects including churches, schools, public buildings and businesses under the On-Site Renewable Distributed Generation program“ (OSDG) which will all together produce 800 KW of solar energy.

Scottish and Southern Energy sold three of its wind farms for 173.6 million pound sterling

According to Gregor Alexander, the finance director of the Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE), the company has sold three of its wind farms with a total installed capacity of 100 MW for a total amount of 173.6 million pounds sterling, to Infinis, a British renewable energy operator.

Shell agrees to sell its downstream assets in Chile

The energy giant Royal Dutch Shell PLC announced on Friday that it has agreed to sell the majority of its downstream business to the Chile’s largest business conglomerate Quinenco, for a total amount of $614 million.
