Iceland’s geothermal energy to Europe through the longest sub-sea electric cable in the world
The Iceland’s state energy company, Landsvirkjun plans to manufacture the longest sub-sea electric cable in the world that could allow Iceland to export its abundance of geothermal energy to interested European countries. This is not a “knowhow” in the renewable energy industry with the first researches undertaken since 1980.

Oil prices grow as Libyan oil output decreases
The oil prices jumped yesterday by 0.5% to $117 after forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi bombed oil industry infrastructure, causing long term damages on the Libyan oil export.
