On Friday, oil prices tumbled. Furthermore, the strength of the US dollar contributed to this sentiment. Consequently, Brent crude stood at $81.62 a barrel, and WTI crude settled at $76.49 a barrel, both contracts dropping by more than 2% day-on-day.
