Statoil has announced that together with its partners they have agreed on a concept for the expansion of the Johan Sverdrup field, one of the five biggest discoveries ever made offshore Norway, estimating a first phase investment of up to NOK120bn ($19.6bn).

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is financing the construction and operation of phase 1 of a new wind farm project in Orla, eastern Poland. The EBRD supports the 37.5MW wind farm project with an investment loan of up to 22 million euros.
