Daily (22.11.2022): Energy complex climbed on Monday amid colder weather
Crude oil prices closed fractionally lower on Monday in a volatile trading session, after Saudi Arabia “categorically” denied a report that Opec was considering an increase in output that would help to counteract a loss of Russian crude supplies. Hence, Brent crude slipped by 0.2% to settle at $87.45 a barrel. U.S. WTI crude ended the day rather flat $80.04 a barrel.

Daily (21.11.2022): Brent crude plummeted by 2.4% on Friday due to weaker demand following an increase in Covid-19 cases in China
Oil prices declined on Friday as the increase in Covid-19 cases in China, the world’s major crude importer, put pressure on oil demand. Hence, Brent crude fell by 2.4% to settle at $87.62 a barrel. WTI crude lost 1.9% to end at $80.08 a barrel.

Daily (18.11.2022): Brent crude fell below $90 a barrel for the first time in six weeks amid sluggish demand
Crude oil prices fell sharply on Thursday, with demand constrained by the growing COVID-19 cases in China and worries about more aggressively raising U.S. interest rates. Brent crude dropped by 3.3% to settle at $89.78 a barrel. U.S. WTI crude tumbled by 4.6%, to settle at $81.64 per barrel.

Daily (17.11.2022): Oil prices were bearish on Wednesday after the restart of crude supplies via Druzhba pipeline
Oil prices dropped on Wednesday as a result of the commencement of Russian oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline to Hungary and an increase in COVID-19 cases in China. As a result, Brent crude settled at $92.86 a barrel, down 1%. WTI crude decreased by 1.5% to $85.59 per barrel.

Daily (16.11.2022): NBP gas contracts rose amid weaker supply and colder weather forecasts
Tuesday saw a rise in oil prices following U.S. statistics that suggested that inflation may start to drop, which would be favorable for oil demand. As a result, Brent crude settled 0.8% higher at $93.86 a barrel. WTI crude increased by 1.2% to $86.92 per barrel.
