Oil prices hiked on Friday, due to the stoppage in Norway and Iraq, while a decline in supplies from Venezuela influenced the global output. Brent crude soared by 1.2% to $75.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude settled 1% higher at $71.01, despite U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s statement that Washington would consider granting waivers to Iran's crude buyers.

Daily (25.06.2018): OPEC’s decision to moderately increase oil production led to a hike in crude prices on Friday

Oil prices jumped on Friday after OPEC settled on a moderate increase in production, below figures discussed ahead of the reunion held in Vienna. Brent crude soared by 3.4% to $75.55 a barrel. Moreover, lower output in Venezuela and Trump’s sanctions on Iran also boosted prices, with WTI crude closing 4.6$ higher at $68.58 a barrel.

Daily (08.06.2018): UK gas price for July 2018 delivery rose 2.3% on Thursday due to an undersupplied system

Brent crude increased by 2.6% to close at $77.32 a barrel, due to a supply problem in Venezuela, where state-owned oil company tried to unload their products of approximately 24 million barrels, expecting to be conveyed to clients.

Daily (25.05.2018): European carbon prices jumped by 1.8% to new seven-year highs on Thursday

Oil prices declined to largest one-day drop in two weeks on Thursday, on expectations that OPEC could gradually end an output deal due to concerns related to supplies from Venezuela and Iran. Brent crude lost $1.01, or 1.3%, to end at $78.79 a barrel. WTI futures dropped by $1.13, or 1.6%, to close at $70.71 a barrel.

Daily (23.05.2018): European carbon prices soared by 2.4% on Tuesday to hit new seven-year peaks

Oil prices were mixed on Tuesday. Brent futures rose close to $80 a barrel level on Tuesday, adding $0.35, or 0.4%, on concerns that decreasing Venezuelan crude output and a potential decline in Iranian exports could further reduce global supply. Brent crude settled at $79.57 a barrel. WTI futures slightly fell due to expectations that OPEC may raise supplies as early as June, to settle at $72.20 a barrel.
